Producer

I’m someone who likes to make things happen and isn’t afraid of the behind the scenes work that goes into it. I’m able to hold the Big Idea and attend to the details whilst aiming to give everyone involved a positive personal experience: from stake holders and partner organisations to community groups, venues, artists and participants. I like to listen well, be clear, friendly, up front and organised.

I love being a part of promoting the amazing things that art and culture can bring to people and places. My producing work is often place based and involves working closely with the people who live, work or visit there. That could be enlivening an area through cultural activity, telling the story of a specific place or community through arts activity, raising awareness about an aspect of the life, heritage or environment of that place or finding ways to connect people through arts and culture.

Working to bring to life the story of a place in its widest sense; making sure local communities of place or interest are at the heart of co-creating the project, and working with artists of all genres to share in telling the story.
